of course, loved the video and learned a lot from it! I wonder if those bags are still available. And, the broccoli - who knew! I get a weekly CSA box and tend to quickly just put stuff away. You’ve inspired me to take a little more time next week!! Thank you : )
Yay! Glad to hear it. It looks like they are still available, and I still have and use mine all these years later! They are very thick cotton and have worked really well.
Love all of your insight, as usual! Thank you! My parents live in a rural area without access to a good co-op with bulk options. Anywhere you recommend ordering from for nuts, chickpeas, flour etc? I’ll check out the dates resource you linked to, also!
Thank you! For peanuts, I've ordered from nutstop.com, which has been good so far as far as quality and relatively minimal packaging. I've never tried their other nuts, but i know they have quite a variety. For chickpeas, black beans, and lentils, I order from Palouse Brand, which are very good, and reasonable prices. I usually get flour at Costco, but have ordered from Central Milling Co plenty of times, too, great quality flour. I've heard good things about Azure Standard, which seems to have a huge range with affordable prices, but I haven't tried them myself. Hope this helps a bit! xx
Wonderful! Isn’t that such a luxury! Here, there is a farm that offers some needs-based CSA boxes via a donations based community fund, but ideally I’d love to see WIC or something partner to make it more widely accessible and to share responsibility

Thanks for sharing all the details, Amanda! Such great reminders for ways to be more sustainable in every day choices when it comes to groceries.

This was super helpful, thank you!
I’m so glad! Thanks for reading xx
I’m lucky enough to afford participating in a local CSA and have just enough yard to sustain a garden to grow fruits and vegetables. Good article.
